Reclaimed English Oak Sculpture

STITCH

English Oak, Stainless Steel and Slate Sculpture

STITCH ….maybe in time…

A sculpture that carries a J.A.D. twist.

An almost sensuous play on the reuse of reclaimed elements.

Created from reclaimed wood off a Norfolk Broads Wherry boat the Albion. The stainless steel was waste from an oil and gas industry project and the slate was reclaimed floor tiles.

The Oak is treated with Danish Oil which can be very easily reapplied to maintain the golden satin finish. For indoor display, this will rarely need to be done.

Outside weather will eventually turn the oak  to a beautiful silver grey. We think it would look good either way. The stainless steel is very high grade and needs no treatment, nor does the slate.

This piece is therefore suitable for indoor or outdoor display.

Approximate Measurements; 190 x 40 x 60 cm
