Stunning vintage water tank table.

Large and eye catching dining table suitable for 6 to 8 people with plenty room for center dishes and the all important wine bottles.

Definitive industrial chic, this piece retains its original fittings and has been stripped back to an incredible vintage patina retaining some of the original paint and then lightly polished.  The finish can be maintained with any multi-surface furniture polish and is resistant to spillage.

The table is incredibly strong despite it’s strange appearance of elegance. It has 2 original outlets, one in each of 2 opposite legs (as shown) and 1 outlet in a corner of the table top.

This table stands sturdy and level but please be aware that the surface is not entirely flat. As is the nature of water tank tables, the shallow undulations remain as they were on the tank.

IN A PAST LIFE ….

Tank table was a galvanised water tank in the gardens of a 17th Century Norfolk cottage. Very hard to date but to our understanding it was used until about the 1950’s.
