SIT ON THIS...

Another skip find begging for refurbishment and donated by a lovely friend of ours who works in a school. Thank you Sally! We’ve always wanted to graffiti a school chair….

We’ve been playing a bit with different types of  artwork that uses simple lines and then this chair came along in need of a bit of attitude.

SIT ON THIS is just plain old pine and acrylic paint varnished over with a water based floor varnish so it’s pretty durable and can be wiped over with a damp cloth and probably even detergent.

It’s suitable for use inside or out, but as with any paint, colours may fade after a long time in very bright sunlight. The pine is varnished so resistant to any existing school kids….but do be aware that the legs may soak up water (they’re not varnished underneath) as any soft wood does, so we recommend outside use on a dry surface.
