Incredible gardens set in beautiful North Norfolk and an absolute must for anyone who enjoys any form of outside space. A cornucopia of horticultural delights, beautifully arranged across a variety of themes. Gardener or not, this place is a sensory pleasure.
For J.A.D. Eclectic, it offers us an opportunity to display our outside furnishing, sculptures and ornaments in their ideal setting. We’re also looking forward to taking a little time looking around an inspirational and imaginative environment.
We’re currently creating a selection of items especially for this event and look forward very much to showing them.
A GARDEN BUILT WITH PASSION
The thing that struck us most about these Gardens, is the abundantly clear passion with which they have been created. Commercialism is low priority here. I’m left feeling that it exists purely to share their delights, support development and maintain its intriguing tapestry.
The owners have created Eden from the tufted grass expanse they purchased in the 1970’s. Originally intended as a space to walk their dogs, it has grown dramatically. A carefully cultivated micro-environment lovingly protects a myriad of floral wonders. All their own design, buildings and enclosed spaces gently fold out from one another. Natural magic at its finest.
If you like being outdoors, we highly recommend a visit. Allow the best part of your day to wander round. We haven’t tried it, but the garden offers an attractive tearoom. Rather wonderful food smells emanating from the kitchen and rather splendid looking cakes were sorely tempting. Next time perhaps we’ll have time to partake…..
FOR THE GARDENERS AMONG YOU
The event also offers a plant sale which although we’re not gardeners, I’m sure will be a treasure trove of horticultural excellence. There will be other stalls on offer but I’m embarrassed to say that we were so excited about participating in this event, I forgot to ask who and what….. Regardless, we’re certain there’ll be plenty to see. A diverse array of garden inspiration for every size, shape and theme of garden.
I’m also taking this opportunity to remind you that if you have an idea, we’re happy to accept commissions. We’re pretty good at turning even the vaguest of ideas into reality….. even if I do say so myself.
MEANWHILE….
Back to work ….. We’ll have some rather lovely painted items on display. See new garden ornaments and a rather special bench, again with its own unique history. We’re having a think about outside dining (one of our favorite occupations) and are busy cooking up ideas. A few sustainable tit-bits to enhance your al-fresco experience.
If you can’t make it over to see us, when we get a chance, we’ll upload images into our gallery. You won’t miss out.
We do however, look forward to meeting you and fingers crossed for a beautiful sunny day…. See you soon xx
