Sandstone church doorstep being reinvented…..
Resurrection/ reinvention / reincarnation of the doorstep….
Under attack inside and outside the workshop is a wonderful hefty slab of sandstone that was once a church doorstep.
A wonderful piece of extremely old history is ours now, rescued from the skip and being reincarnated.
The whole process is mind numbingly noisy, incredibly dusty but absolutely fascinating to watch because it’s not me carving it – I’ll stick to writing about it all AND working on the website, for the time being….
After a horrifically long and flu-ridden winter, up and coming are we!
…Well, in terms of technology anyway. NEARLY to the point of having a shop set up complete with payment method AND links AND Instagram AND Pintrest AND….. whatever else we can think of before I get bored and add something new to the J.A.D. Eclectic collection. Most of all, we’re chomping at the bit and happily ploughing full steam ahead.
Anyway, we just thought you might like a small snapshot into J.A.D. innards and general workings. Almost a game wondering what’s going to emerge. Even I don’t know yet. xx
